You can re-issue API keys any moment and you can manage several active API keys at a time.
The best practice recommends to hold at least 2 keys. The first one can be used on the current production environment or app. The second key can be used in the next version's code. As the rollout of the app is finished, you can revoke the old API key. This will allow a smooth transitioning.
